The new job has me back traveling a lot again!

I've pretty much been around North America since my last entry. That's why I haven't posted much. Also have a camera that's hurt. I think I'll have to make the big plunge and buy a new one.

I'm really hoping I'll be able to get the new one before I leave for Montreal next Sunday. I don't get to Montreal often, but having been there in the past, I know, it's so beautiful, I must take some pictures.

I'm looking forward to at least a bit of time off in August. September will be very busy with 2 trips to Texas, one to Las Vegas (maybe) and another to Reno. Denver will likely be a stop on one of the trips. I may have to hit San Francisco and area at some point in September too.

The problem with travel as I do it now is that I'm not in any one place for long. Really hard to find time for anything on the creative front.

Well folks, hopefully I'll have more coming soon.

Time to update the old Journal! Sorry, it has been a long time! A lot has changed since the last one...two jobs, the latest a fantastic change to being back in market again.

I love the work I'm privileged to do! I just came off a week back traveling again. It has been three years and I miss getting out and meeting people. It's wonderful to travel across Canada and the U.S. to do business. It's so interesting and energizing!

Unfortunately, few if any pictures from this most recent trip to Denver, Houston and Dallas, there was not really any time, even at night. My pictures while traveling are usually while over a weekend.

I'm so appreciative and thankful for the wonderful people on DA who have done so much for me. There are a special few, who know who they are, that entertain, banter, acknowledge, care and offer beautiful thoughts and words. To them I'm especially indebted and full of warm feelings and emotion.

Off for a bit of a holiday - a few days. Won't be too active for a week or so.

We still haven't had more than that 'skif' of snow.

First skiff of snow today. Inevitable. Our first of the season.

As you have no doubt seen, I got away to the Rockies a couple of weekends ago and had a bit of time for some pictures. The area was beautiful. The Lodge was decorated for Christmas and in the forested beauty of the Rockies it really just feels like...well there's no other cares anywhere!

Looks like I like chairs, eh? I couldn't get enough of those vibrant colours with the lake and mountains in the background. Unfortunately, there will still be more...

I have moved into a new job which is proving to be a wonderful change. Thankfully, busier and lots of learning so I'm really having fun.

I was without my computer for a bit so was a little slow on responses and postings.

So many of you hve favourited a bunch of my images! Thanks so much. I'm going to try to get a note off to everyone but it's going to take a bit of time. So, please pardon my tardiness.

Have a great November everyone. To my American friends, have a great Thanksgiving.

What does fall mean to you?

What's unique and fun to do where you live?

To me? Fall is:

~the colour
~variety of things to do
~learning
~time with family
~all those sports
~focus
~hockey starts
~crisp walks
~more pictures this year
~prepare the cocoon
~change
~fall cleanup

I think this is my favourite time of the year and I think change is one of the things I look most forward to. Change is and always has been so dramatic around now.

Pictures tomorrow. Need to take more homegrown images this year. Way too many have been of other places. Maybe more hockeywith kids and maybe just a nice fall walk to select a fre 'different' shots.
